Flights to Mallorca

For our guests traveling from the USA, you'll most likely have a layover in either Madrid or Barcelona before heading to Mallorca. Once you arrive in either city, you'll find frequent and convenient flights to Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI). The flight from either city to Mallorca takes about an hour.

When booking your flights, we recommend checking for connections that allow at least a 2-3 hour layover to ensure a smooth transfer. Once you land in Mallorca, the island’s beautiful beaches, charming villages, and our wedding festivities await you!

 There are many taxi stands located around the City of Palma. Below is the number for taxi service that you can text via WhatsApp to arrange a ride – we would recommend doing so approximately 20 mins before it is needed. Alternately, if you’re staying at a hotel, the concierge can help you arrange a ride.

Ride-Share Apps
For convenient and flexible transportation during your stay in Mallorca, Uber is available in Palma and other major towns. These services provide a convenient way to travel around the city and the island, but usually involve longer wait times. While ride-share options may not be as prevalent in more remote areas, they are a good choice for navigating Palma and accessing key attractions. We suggest calling the Uber about 30 minutes early due to possible long wait times during busy periods. Car Rentals
While there will be transportation provided for wedding events, having a rental car offers flexibility to explore the island at your own pace. Mallorca is known for its beautiful beaches, charming towns, and scenic landscapes, which are best enjoyed with the freedom to travel independently.

Historic Train Ride to Port de Soller

The historic train from Palma to Port de Soller is a scenic journey through the Tramuntana mountains, showcasing picturesque landscapes and orange groves. This vintage train, dating back to 1912, offers stunning coastal views. To board, go to the Estació Intermodal in Palma and follow signs to the Sóller platform. Tickets are available at the station or online. The ride takes about 1 hour, providing a scenic view of Mallorca en route to Port de Soller.

Cala Xinxell

A hidden gem with soft sand and shallow waters, Cala Xinxell is great for relaxation and has a local vibe.

Cala Gamba

This beach is often frequented by locals for a quiet swim. It’s rocky, but great for snorkeling and enjoying a tranquil atmosphere away from the tourist-heavy spots.

Cala Blava

A small, quiet cove with stunning turquoise waters and a mix of sand and rocks. This beach is less crowded than others, and the scenic views make it perfect for a peaceful day by the sea.

Platja de Portals Vells

Cala Comtessa

Deià

Deià, a 45 minute drive from Palma, is a picturesque village in the Tramuntana Mountains on Mallorca's northwest coast, known for its elegance and artistic vibe. Santanyí

Santanyí, a 45 minute drive from Palma, is a lovely town on the southeast coast of Mallorca, famous for its golden stone buildings, art scene, and beautiful coastline. It mixes rustic charm with sophistication, making it a great place to visit for those who enjoy culture and nature.

Start by visiting local art galleries featuring works from both local and international artists. The street market, every Wednesday and Saturday, is a must and offers fresh produce, clothing, and handmade crafts. For a memorable dining experience, visit Laudat, set in an old Mallorcan house with a patio-terrace offering a fresh take on Mediterranean cuisine. Another culinary gem is Es Molí de Santanyí, a historic windmill-turned-restaurant, where you can enjoy beautifully prepared tapas in a setting that seamlessly combines rustic charm with modern elegance.

An absolute must is booking an experience at Son Moragues, a mountain estate more than 500 years old with olive groves, orchards and ancient forests.
