Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get to Mallorca?
Most guests will fly into Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) from either Madrid or Barcelona. There are frequent flights from both cities, and the flight duration is approximately one hour. We recommend allowing at least 2-3 hours for layovers when booking your flights. For more information on travel please see here.
What is the best time to arrive in Mallorca?
The wedding festivities will begin on September 23rd. We recommend arriving at least a day or two before to allow time to relax and explore the island. This also gives you a buffer in case of any travel delays. For more information on travel please see here.
Are there any pre-wedding or post-wedding events?
Yes! We will be hosting a Welcome Party (Traditional Mallorcan Barbecue) on September 23rd, 2025 for all of our guests.
Where should I stay in Mallorca?
There are a variety of accommodation options in Mallorca, ranging from luxury hotels to charming boutique stays and vacation rentals. We suggest staying in or around Palma, where the wedding events will take place, for convenience. We’ve provided some hotel recommendations here.
Will transportation be provided on the wedding day?
Yes! Round-trip guest transportation for the Mallorcan Barbecue Welcome Party at Son Mir and the Wedding at Cap Rocat will depart from and return to a designated location in Palma’s City Center. We will text or email all guests with the exact location closer to the events.
Can I bring a guest to the wedding?
Due to venue capacity and our desire to keep the event intimate, we kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation attend the wedding. If you have any questions or need clarification, please feel free to reach out to us directly. Thank you for understanding!
Are children invited to the wedding?
Yes, children are welcome if they are listed on your invitation. We’re excited to celebrate with our little guests! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We will be providing a Nanny Service on September 25th – please reach out to us if you would like more information on this, or if you would like to utilize this service.
What should I pack?
Late September in Palma de Mallorca usually brings pleasant weather, with daytime temperatures averaging between 72-84°F. However, evenings can be cooler, so it’s a good idea to pack a light jacket or wrap for added comfort.
What should I wear to the wedding?
The dress code for our Wedding is Mediterranean Formal. See here for a description of the dress code, along with some inspiration!
What activities do you recommend in Mallorca?
Mallorca is full of wonderful things to do! We recommend visiting the stunning Cathedral of Palma, exploring the Old Town, taking a day trip to Deia or Satanyi (both approximately 45 minutes by car from Palma), and enjoying the beautiful beaches. The nearby Serra de Tramuntana mountains offer fantastic hiking opportunities. We’ve provided a list of our favorite spots and activities here.
What is the best way to get around Palma de Mallorca?
Palma is a very walkable city, and many attractions are within easy reach. For longer distances, taxis, rental cars, and public transportation are all available. We will also provide transportation for wedding events.
To truly make the most of your stay in Mallorca, we recommend renting a car to explore other parts of the Island. For recommendations and more information on car rentals see here.
